Phoenix hit the first triple digits of the year this past weekend. I was just chatting with a reader of the blog yesterday on Facebook, Lorraine who lives in Alberta, Canada. She was telling me about the snow she had! Isn't it crazy to think of the weather extremes on the same continent?! I just can't wrap my head around it sometimes - how things can be soooo different!
I made these Chocolate Cinnamon Doughnuts Saturday night in anticipation of wanting something quick for breakfast Sunday morning. Knowing that it's cooler first thing in the morning and later into the evening, my kitchen escapades will be switching to the cooler times of the day as much as possible.
This doughnut recipe makes a fairly large batch. It's perfect for a church brunch or if you have a lot of hungry kiddos! They don't last long around my house!
